Abuse exists in every community. Below, we have organized public documents related to notable cases of alleged child abuse and sexual harrassment within the Jewish community. Our hope is that by bringing awareness to these events, we can also encourage transparency and accountability.
Many of these cases are ongoing with no judgement or verdict yet to be made. We invite you to read these documents and consider how we, as a community, can create a space of support for victims and implement policies to protect others from abuses. The question for our community is whether we acknowledge abuse and take action when it occurs, or if we will sweep these mistreatments, along with the survivors, under the rug.
If you are a survivor or a family member of a survivor and are looking for support, please know that you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
